Community Garden Project

South Lee ETNS is delighted to partner up with Togher Community Garden Committee to work on the community garden recently set up in Clashduv Park. For the past few weeks the children have been busy planting bulbs, preparing raised beds, setting up green houses, digging compost heaps and securing tree saplings. This a wonderful opportunity for the children to get involved in their community and to expand their horticultural skills and knowledge. A big thank you to Jess, Otto’s Mom, who has coordinated the project for us and liaised with the committee. You can read more about this fantastic community initiative and our involvement in it in this recent newspaper article by the Echo. https://www.echolive.ie/corknews/arid-40791552.html
